I'm just a little bird, and I want to learn some DOS. I'm using an XP system, and I know the command prompt is not pure DOS, so I made a boot disk and go into DOS when the machine starts up to study it. But I found that some external commands can't be used, because my boot disk simply doesn't have the files for those external commands. So I downloaded a Win98 boot disk, and some external commands can be used now, but there are still some commands that don't work. Could all you big birds please provide a DOS boot disk that has every command? I only want to learn a bit, and carry forward the glorious tradition of helping others. Thanks.

A small boot disk can't hold all DOS external command programs. You can install Wengier's full version of MSDOS 7.1. For details, see: http://www.cn-dos.net/newdos/doswarea.htm
