My motherboard is BX, the system is WIN2K+WINXP, and my 60G hard drive has always been partitioned up to drive J. I used 7.10 to make a boot disk and set it to boot from drive A, but nothing really happens. A Win98 boot disk works normally. I want to copy files from the USB hard drive to the hard drive under DOS. How do I load the USB hard drive? I'm a newbie, please explain in more detail, thanks!

What exactly do you mean by "nothing really happens"? Under DOS, USB hard drives can be driven with USB drivers such as DUSE, Motto Hairu, etc.

I used the DOS7.0 boot disk you made. When booting on my laptop, the first and second options have no problem, but with the third option, when preparing to use the USB driver, it always hangs midway through booting, so there is no way to proceed. I tried using this command under the DOS state in the second option:
CTLOAD DUSE.EXE DRIVES=2 but judging from the status, it just ends without any result at all. I also don't know whether the USB driver was actually loaded. Anyway, there is no prompt at all, and I can't see any USB drive letter. How can I get it loaded? Also, how can I see the drive letter of the USB hard drive?

If there is no prompt message at all, then it was not driven successfully (if it succeeds, it will display some information). Try some other USB driver programs.
