Question for all the experts here: can I modify my own File Allocation Table? Where is the File Allocation Table? If it can be modified, what software can be used to modify it? Where do I modify it? Please help me, experts! Thank you all!

You can just use Norton Disk Edit.

Can “Ruǎnjǐng” PC TOOLS be used to modify it? Why won't it let me save when I modify it? And it can only modify one digit! Please give me some pointers! Thanks!

Ruǎnjǐng PCTOOLS only provides file hex editing, not disk sector 16-bit editing. To modify the FAT table, use other software.

I recently downloaded another piece of software, DISKEDIT. It seems like it can probably modify it, and it also seems to support 32-bit partitions, so it should be useful! I still haven't learned how to use it. Can anyone tell me where I can find materials on it? Thanks to all you “experts”

DISKEDIT 2002 for DOS supports FAT12/16/32.
