First I do SYS, then copy smartdrv.exe and Himem.sys to the system disk.
Then I create a Config.sys and add this line in it: device=himem.sys. Why won't my smartdrv work, where did I go wrong! |

How are you using it? Normally, smartdrv is used from the command line. Just type smartdrv at the command line.
If you're using a DIET-compressed SMARTDRV, you won't see any information at startup, but it is indeed running. |

You can use mem /a/c/p to check; you can see what programs have been loaded.

There is already a CONFIG.SYS on the boot disk...
Add this in it: device=himem.sys Then just type smartdrv at the command line... |
