Little brother has already installed Win98 on the C drive. Now he wants to install DOS on another drive and use a multi-boot menu. Please help!

In the boot menu, select "Command Prompt Only" to enter pure MS-DOS 7.10. Then at any time, you can enter the Windows 98 interface using the WIN command at the DOS command line. If you want to make a multi-boot, try the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made:

Then may I ask how to install DOS to another disk? Because I also need to install Win2000, and I use xosl to make a multi-boot menu, thank you!

In fact, the system files of DOS are placed on the C drive. Create another folder (for example, C:\COMMAND) and copy the DOS external commands into it. Actually, there is no need to use XOSL; just use the startup menu that comes with Win2K. Anyway, that's how I do it.

The following is a quote from Wengier on 2003-3-19 0:52:09:
If you want to create a multi-boot, try the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made:
http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bd.zip

I tried it, but the boot disk I made didn't work?
I followed the first method in the README to make the boot disk.

It's just that you need to restart the computer after it's done. Why is there no response?

It doesn't work. The floppy disk is good.
My floppy drive is also good,
because I have used other boot disks and they can all boot.

I've never had any problems making boot disks with DI. Maybe it can't recognize some floppy disks. I now have HD-COPY.EXE (HD-COPY) included in the downloaded ZIP file, and it's okay to try using it to make a boot disk.
