I followed the steps in “Methods for networking under DOS,” but found that I still couldn’t connect the DOS and NT machines. In the root directory of drive C I typed net, and after pressing Enter a dialog box popped up asking me to enter the connection path. I typed “\\NT machine name\c", but the system reported an error, saying my “path is incorrect or the machine does not exist”; also, when I used net view to browse the computers in the same workgroup, it didn’t work either. Please give me some guidance, thanks!
Also: the “tcp/ip protocol" mentioned in the article, is it the one we usually use under WINDOWS, or tcp/ip for dos ?
