Could it mean beta? Also, FoxPro 2.6 for DOS seems not to support Chinese field names. In this respect it's actually not as good as FoxPro 2.5b. Why?
Also, the dialog boxes in FoxPro 2.5b show garbled text under both CCDOS and UCDOS. Replacing the file of the same name in FoxPro 2.5b with foxgb.exe from UCDOS can solve the garbled text under UCDOS. But what about CCDOS? |

Probably it means the second edition, like editions a, b, c, etc.

Turns out there's a solution in CCDOS too, also by overwriting the file with the same name. And it's much better than the UCDOS one.
