How do you capture the screen (desktop) in real-mode DOS? How do you save it?

Just use software like ScreenThief or VideoThief. There are downloads in the site's "display tools" section.

The images captured by VideoThief 0.07 are in VTF format. What software can open them under windows?

1, The image format captured by ScreenThief is BMP, but it can't be opened with the Paint program in Windows. What's going on? 2, ScreenThief can't capture the GHOST7.5 interface. What's going on? Please give me some guidance, experts.

Screen Thief supports not only BMP format, but also JPG and other formats. They can all be opened with software like QuickView under DOS.
