I want to ask everyone a few small questions here:
1. The book says the DOS installation disks come on three disks, and at most are only about 4 MB in size. But the ones downloaded from the Internet are over 30 MB. What is going on? Please help me out. 2. Is it possible to install DOS first and then install Windows Me? These are shallow questions, but please give me a hand! |

1. The ones on the Internet include many practical DOS software tools, so they are much larger than what the book says.
2. What you said should be possible. |

It seems that to install WINDOWS ME you don't need to install DOS, you just need to use DOS to format drive C:, then that's fine. There is simply no need to install DOS at all.

1The DOS you find online includes many external commands; just use copy. The 3-disk installation refers to DOS 6.22; just boot from the floppy and let it run automatically.
2There shouldn't be any contradiction here, right? It depends on what version of DOS you install. For more complicated cases, just use multi-system management, such as SPFDISK's all-Chinese boot menu. |
