I’d like to ask: the CPU I wanted was an AMD Athlon(tm)xp 2500+, but the computer shop gave me a 2600+. Also, in
cmos it shows 3000+. Why is that? Was it swapped on me? I wanted a boxed one. I didn’t look carefully. Also, its external clock is 200M. Has it been overclocked? I think I was cheated. Is that really true? |

It probably was overclocked, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you were cheated. It’s very normal for a 2600 to be overclocked to 3000. You should post this question on some hardware forums. For them, this is a very simple question.
