Recently, in order to facilitate the use of the Chinese version and the Japanese version, I installed a dual system on WinME. But after installation, the Japanese version cannot be opened. Under DOS, I tried to delete the Japanese version (C:>format f:) but couldn't delete it. It really makes me in a difficult situation. Please, all experts, give me some pointers. Thank you!

When you install the system, you should install the two systems in two different drives. In this way, one system can be safe and correct. Put the most important one in C:\. In this way, it can also start normally. Believe it or not, you can try it!

If you only use Japanese occasionally, you can also use tools like南极星 for support.

First of course, I am very grateful for the replies from dominicyh and mys. But my Chinese is on drive C: and Japanese is on drive F:. When I enter Japanese through the dual system, the symbol C/:/> always appears, and I don't know what content to type. Also, I want to delete drive F: but can't. Is it because the boot disk can't execute the FORMAT command? What should I do?

That is in the DOS mode, and at this time, various DOS commands can be entered. Use the WIN command to enter Windows.

Take the WIN command as an example.
There is a blinking cursor after C:> Press W, then I, then N, and then press Enter, and the WIN command is entered (case - insensitive). |
