Does anyone know how to use a bad sector repair tool?
I mean the little tool fbdisk. After I used it, the logical partition disappeared. Why would this happen? |

If nothing's wrong, don't use fbdisk. That software is no good. I've tried it before—even a good hard drive can get damaged by it.

Try using Norton Disk Doctor (NDD). This software is easier to use.

Right, use Norton Disk Doctor 2002. I don't know whether 2003 is out yet, but it's slow. Still, if it's for your hard drive, then slow is slow.

NDD is really good, but don't use the Chinese-localized one—that one is useless.
