I'm currently running an XP system, with neither a floppy drive nor a CD-ROM drive, but I want to format the hard disk and reinstall the machine. I read an article saying that DOS can be installed under XP. So if I install DOS first, can I then enter DOS and delete the existing XP system, that is, format drive C? Is this workable? If DOS itself is installed on drive C, does that mean drive C can't be formatted?
