You can directly press the computer's power button to shut it down (best to do it while in the root directory), or you can use the software PowerOFF.exe for a software shutdown.

Hehe... did the power supplies on machines that used DOS back then support ATX??? No way, right... you'd still have to flip the switch yourself anyway...
