Hello webmaster:
I am a newbie. I have a new hard disk, but I don't know how to partition my hard disk under DOS. I am not familiar with DOS commands. Please ask all the experts to give me more advice! |

You use a boot disk to enter FDISK and directly partition, that's going to be bad

Older versions of DOS do not support current large hard drives. You need to find a WINDOWS ME boot disk or the MS DOS 7.10 boot disk provided by this forum. After booting the machine with this disk, run the FDISK software to partition. Or use third-party software (such as PQ Partition Magic, DM, etc.) to perform the partitioning operation.

楼主,你可以用WINDOWS98的光盘启动DOS。再用FDISK就可以分区了。
The landlord, you can boot DOS with the Windows 98 CD. Then you can use FDISK to partition. |

You can use the Windows 98 CD to boot into DOS, and then use FDISK to partition.

For the first partition, it's better to use fdisk. If your English is not good, you can download a Chinese - language version of fdisk.

Set the CD-ROM to boot in CMOS, then boot into DOS using a Windows 98 CD, use the FDISK command to partition. First create a primary partition, then an extended partition, then create logical drives, and then set the active partition. The partition will only take effect after restarting the computer. Then format and install the system. If installing XP, it's easier to use an XP CD that has a Chinese interface. Or go to http://doshome.com/tools/a/sos4.zip to download a super rescue disk, which has a Chinese interface for partitioning, formatting, etc.

I think the best and most convenient is... using DM to partition is the fastest... It's also easy to operate...
