Please help, everyone! How can I obtain the other party's IP? It's best without downloading software. Also, how can I hide my own IP address?

Under the DOS prompt box, enter: IPCONFIG
You can see your own IP address!
And the IP mask!

Supplement: Under DOS, typing WINIPCFG can also see your own IP address, and it is displayed in Chinese! As for getting the other party's IP, without using third-party software, I don't know either, and I'm still learning!

The following is a quote from winyao on 2004-3-5 10:50:55:
Supplement, you can also see your own IP address by typing WINIPCFG under DOS, and it is displayed in Chinese,!

As for getting the other party's IP, without using third-party software, I don't know, and I am also studying!

What you said about winipcfg can be used in 98, but it cannot be used in 2000 or XP systems. In 2000/XP, you can use ipconfig/all to see all the information about the network card on the local computer, including the MAC address and the current IP address, as well as the subnet mask, gateway address, DNS address, etc. of the network card. The details are as follows:
Windows 2000 IP Configuration

Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : unisat Host name
Primary DNS Suffix . . . . . . . : Primary DNS
Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Broadcast Node type
IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No Whether to enable IP routing
WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No Whether to use WINS proxy

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

ernet NIC
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-E0-4C-5A-84-91 Network card physical address (MAC address)
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Whether to use DHCP
Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Whether to automatically configure
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.193.16.249 Network card IP address
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.252.0 Subnet mask
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.193.16.1 Default gateway
DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.193.16.1 DHCP server address
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 211.94.65.97 DNS server address
211.94.33.193
Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : March 5, 2004 9:11:47 Date when the IP address was obtained
Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : March 8, 2004 9:11:47 IP address expiration time
If you want to get the other party's IP, you must rely on other software, such as snaffer pro and other professional software.

Under 2000/XP, as long as you can establish a connection with the other party, you can enter the netstat command in the command prompt to obtain the IP addresses of all currently connected hosts
