Dos and XP are still incompatible. Can XP be booted under DOS? Can one get to pure DOS under XP? So they are incompatible.

My computer has always been a multi - system that can enter separately, but I don't think one is a supplement to the other. They are separate and have nothing to do with each other.

Yes! The term "addition" is really an error in concept. That's because people always thought that Windows seemed to be the only system, and DOS became an accessory under Windows. People blurred the concept that DOS is also an operating system with the command-line window under Windows.

In no particular order, you can install XP first, or you can first use Format c:/s to format the C drive.

The LZ is really enthusiastic.

In fact, the moderator has already made it very clear:
For a FAT32 hard disk and having already installed win9x/2000/xp, you can directly choose to install the ms-dos7.X version files. After installation, you can select to boot into DOS or Windows when starting the computer. The second method is the one the LZ mentioned.
For an NTFS hard disk and having already installed win9x/2000/xp, you can only use a multi-boot management system, such as SPFDISK, VFloppy, GRUB for NTLDR, etc.; or install one-click backup/restore under XP (directly enter DOS and run ghost), and so on.
Is the principle of the LZ's NTFS the same as that of the one-click backup/restore system? Can you explain it???
