Please help, everyone! You all say that MS-DOS 7.10 can be used to make a DOS boot disk!! But it is only limited to use on floppy disks and CDs!! Can it be installed to boot from a USB flash drive? I tried extracting it to a floppy disk to make a boot disk, and it can boot MS-DOS 7.10, but copying it to a USB flash drive doesn't work! Some people say it's because the motherboard doesn't support it!! But I tried many motherboards and it still doesn't work??

May I ask why my computer freezes when I enter the DOS71 screen after installation? Also, during the installation of the second floppy disk, it requires entering the drive letter path, but after entering it, the installation cannot continue. I have finished downloading the CD version, but I don't know how to install it.
Is it necessary to burn the CD and then boot from the CD to install? Also, my operating system is Windows XP.
The C drive is in FAT32 format. Do I need to remove the Windows XP system, format it and then install, or directly install MS-DOS 7.10 to the C drive?
