I'm a newbie: The following is my understanding of the operation. I don't know if it's correct. Please correct and guide the moderator: 1. I also downloaded the 7.x command learning materials provided by the moderator. I looked at the attrib command. 4. atttrib -R -A -S -H C:\BOOT.INI I don't understand the commands about edit. The startup floppy disk I made doesn't have the edit command. How can I start the edit command then?

My C drive is NTFS file system. Can it be installed? Regarding the above method, I don't understand the fourth step. I'm stuck when editing the boot.ini file in step 4.

That's not possible. NTFS is not supported by DOS

On page four of this topic, it was said that the spfdisk program could be used to solve the problem. Is the driver program ntfsdos also able to solve it? Both of these things can't be downloaded, could they have been deleted? Now I have NTFS, if I want to install it, do I only have to reinstall the XP system, re-partition the disk into FAT and then install DOS? Are there other methods?
