DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

My machine is a dual - system. Some time ago, Windows 98 couldn't boot up, and it prompted an I/O error. Windows 2000 can boot up! Friends, may I ask where the problem lies! Thank you!

It is very likely a problem with BOOTSECT.DOS. Check if there is this file in the root directory of drive C: under Windows 2000 (not sure if it is hidden).
