Extract two images to the hard disk using the winimafe software. Then enter DOS, find the file and type satup to install!

I want to ask, why can't DOSIMG extract those two image files? Is it because it wasn't downloaded properly? Also, what does it mean to extract to the hard disk?

I have installed from 98 to XP. The C drive is 98's FAT32, and the D drive is XP's NTFS. I want to install it on the C drive. Is it just a direct installation?

I boot into DOS from the CD to prepare to upgrade to DOS 7.1. Why does it prompt to insert a floppy disk when I install it? Do I still need a floppy disk? What kind of floppy disk is it??? Please guide, thank you!

But after downloading, there is such a sentence in the readme file: "|== And to unpack them to the hard disk for installation, please use software like UNDISK, DOSIMG, WinImage to unpack all of them to a folder on the hard disk. Note: If there are two IMG image files, please unpack them to the same path on the hard disk, not two different paths. Then enter this path under pure DOS and run SETUP to start the installation! ===|
