SCANREG.EXE can be found in the COMMAND folder under the Win9x/ME folder. This file is not present in the MS-DOS 7.x/8.0 startup disks that come with Win9x/ME.

After booting with the downloaded ROM-DOS boot disk, I encountered a problem: the hard drive partitions are only recognized up to H, and subsequent partitions are not recognized. After setting LASTDRIVE=Z in CONFIG.SYS, it still cannot be recognized. But drive letters I-Z are available as CD-ROM drives and virtual drives. I don't know if it's a problem with ROM-DOS itself or a problem with the settings?

Hello, I really appreciate your DOS boot disk. I am also a DOS enthusiast, and I would like to give you some suggestions. First, my computer only has a USB mouse, and your boot disk does not support it, so I used another driver and successfully loaded the USB mouse driver in the DOS environment under Virtual PC. This driver is attached to this letter, and I think it is a universal mouse driver. On the other hand, a large number of DOS games require EMS memory, and I hope you can add more than 2M EMS (emm386 ram 2048). Please reply to me. Thank you! lzpublic@yahoo.com

It's using the OHCI/UHCI driver for the USB mouse, right? But it's a pity that it's too large in size, not suitable to be placed on a 1.44MB floppy disk.
