The machine pc9821's DOS version is MS-DOS5.0A-H, and I added WIN98!

What exactly is going on with you? How come it's DOS and WIN98 at the same time? What exactly is the operating system on your hard disk? Why are you always COPY.COPY-ing? System files aren't something you can just COPY and be done with.

Hehe, NEC PC9821 machines can't simply install WIN98, XP, etc. by using SETUP. They can only be installed using a dedicated system disk, and I have that system CD in my hands. The files on the system CD are already extracted. I know that simply copying the extracted system files over won't work, and that some files have to be modified. I don't understand this part, so that's why I'm here asking everyone for advice!

I'm not sure, because I've only seen a NEC 9821 and never actually operated one...
