Is DOS software under Linux??
I looked for it all day under my WinXP and couldn't find it.

I've used DEBUG to debug assembly programs, and it didn't feel too hard—very practical! As for the rest, I'm not too clear either. Is this what everyone is talking about? Or is there something else......?

Brother, could you upload electronic versions of those books of yours that teach cracking with debug? I've never seen anyone do cracking with debug before. If I could see that, it'd really be exciting. :lol:

If you want to learn DEBUG, you first have to learn assembly language.

Geez, I want to see it too!

As long as someone wants to learn, they'll keep at it. If they don't want to learn, you could beat them to death and they still wouldn't even take a look.

Using debug for cracking mainly relies on the disassembly command U

Personally, I think if you have the time, learn a bit of everything and treat it as entertainment.

NO, if you're doing cracking nowadays and still using DEBUG, you won't be able to make a living. There are already lots of static and dynamic cracking tools. Besides, VISTA has clearly stated that it no longer supports DEBUG.

I think Debug is a debugging tool for assembly and binary programs. Once you've learned assembly language, you can use Debug for disassembly (cracking, decryption) and for making small programs. Some operations in Debug are all related to assembly knowledge~ :)

For newbies, using some DEBUG commands unrelated to assembly, such as L, W, RCX to operate on hard disk sectors, is already stimulating enough!

To play with DEBUG, you need a foundation.

Computer principles, architecture, and assembly language are all things you must learn.

I want to learn too. Is assembly hard? As for Debug, I only know how to use it to clear a CMOS password; I don't know how to use it for anything else.
