Does the command `rd\ /s /q` mean deleting the content of all drive letters in any environment?

Just tried
C:\Documents and Settings\user> directory, rd \ .. .. .. Found that there is only more than 700M left on drive C, which is more than I expected! Hehe, only then did I know that .. .. .. can also be used. |

The RD command under old DOS cannot delete non-empty directories, which is different.
