Use Xiaolvyuang. It does a little less damage to the hard drive than dm.

If it's logical, try the zero-fill in Ndd32; it can repair bad sectors...
If it still can't be repaired, then it's probably physical, and there's nothing that can be done...

This hard drive can only be used for practice now. Don't put anything important on it, it's not reliable.
I used to often use Lformat to solve this, simple and effective.

If it's a logical bad sector, the scandisk command will do. If it's a physical bad sector, it can only be repaired with low-level formatting

Hehe, go into DOS and try repairing it with MHDD
