Sometimes DOS is simpler than WINDOWS, so we use DOS. It's probably a kind of auxiliary tool.

After reading so many friends' talks about DOS, I want to say that I like the classic things from the past. I think if DOS develops well, it is really small but practical. The current Windows XP gives people the feeling of being flashy but useless. I still use Windows 3.2, Windows 95, Windows 97 from time to time. However, why can't Windows XP perform the setup installation under DOS? For old motherboards that don't support optical drives, isn't it...

If it's that type of motherboard, I think there's no need to install WinXP either. It's definitely a nightmare!
