虽然我对港台的一些术语词汇觉得很别扭,但有少数几个翻译我认为比大陆的要好。“网志”一词我认为就比大陆的“博_客”一词翻译的要好。Blog, 本身就是 Web Log 的简称,显然“网志”一词更能体现它的确切含义,但“博_客”一词只是直接的音译罢了,如果不知道的人初次接触,根本就不知道是什么东西。真不知道当初翻译这个词的人是怎么想的,我可以说是不负责任的粗制滥造。现在的一些文字工作者,尤其是一些媒体记者,素质一代不如一代,遇到一个新名词,随手拈来就胡乱用上去了,完全没有老一代翻译家那种酌字逐句的敬业精神。

Although I find some terms in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan a bit awkward, there are a few translations that I think are better than those on the mainland. The term "web log" (网志) I think is better than the mainland's "blog". Blog itself is the abbreviation of Web Log. Obviously, the term "web log" can better reflect its exact meaning, but the term "blog" is just a direct transliteration. If someone who doesn't know it comes across it for the first time, they simply don't know what it is. I really don't know what the person who translated this term was thinking at the time. I can say it's irresponsible shoddy work. Some current text workers, especially some media reporters, are getting worse generation by generation. When encountering a new noun, they just pick it up and use it randomly, completely lacking the dedicated spirit of the older generation of translators who would choose words word by word.
