1。The system must be bootable, but the hardware has no hard disk support. So floppy disk, CD, or USB drive are all fine. A USB drive would be best, so there'd be no need for a CD-ROM drive.
2。Include a browser, support Internet access, and be able to see Network Neighborhood
3。Support images, sound, and video. Best if it can run mediaplayer.exe; if that really won't work, then at least include directx
4。Best if it can support running programs written in any one of the following languages. vb/delphi/vc programs can run (only need them to run)
5。Support serial ports.
6。The smaller the whole system, the better. And it should have a self-recovery function when booting up (if it's on CD, then recovery won't be necessary).
7。Don't bring me any copyright disputes.
