China DOS Union

I want to develop a program so that this EXE can make DOS unable to display 256-color pictures (including 265-color graphics inside DOS program EXEs) under DOS!

Is there any expert on the forum who can do this! Thanks

What should be done to prevent pictures from being displayed under pure DOS?

I tried in AUTOEXEC。BAT

methods like @echo off, ctty nul, and mode 40 to change the display mode,

but it still doesn't work, under DOS it can still normally display some pictures such as PCX and others!

This method can work, because you can make it stay resident in memory, then other software won't be able to switch automatically anymore, hehe
A net friend of mine, named 罗云彬, has already helped me make it happen. I'll post the source code for everyone right away,
so everyone can learn from it!

The code above really works. Everyone can compile it and try it, then you'll understand.
Run that compiled EXE, hehe, and after that under DOS no graphics at all can be displayed anymore.

But unless you reinstall the system, only then will you be able to normally display graphics under DOS again!

Could you contact Mr. Luo and ask him to write a program that detects the computer type and what corresponding type it is in XP?
