DOS - XP networking, to stay in touch with my parents, begging the experts for help - China DOS Union Forum

I'm away from home, and I often keep in touch with my parents using NetMeeting, but now the system has problems and keeps throwing errors, and my parents only know this one thing—they memorized it by rote. My little brother understands a bit more, but he still can't install a system either. I'm afraid that if something goes wrong, there'll be no way to deal with it. At least if DOS can't be installed, they can still get into the system and make do with it for the time being. So I want to reinstall the system for them through the Internet. Is that possible?

My machine is running XP, and they're using WINME. My preliminary idea is:
I go online in XP (or, if necessary, go online under DOS), and the other machine goes online under DOS.
I think it would be best to put an XP CD image on their hard drive. If I can connect to their machine, and if I can send commands to their machine, then I can just click install directly.

There are many ways. For example, diskless 95, 98; pure DOS DOSRDP; ICADOS32, all of these can do it. You can also use one-to-many solutions like BetWin.
