My hard drive is a WD400BB 40G
I repartitioned it with PQ8.0 Drive C is NTFS, the others are FAT32 After that I used Western Digital's low-level format tool and did a low-level format once Booting from the XP CD says no hard drive was found Booting with a 98 installation disc is also useless Booting from the hard drive gives Error loading os How can I fix this~! |

You already low-level formatted it, of course it can't find the OS. If you want an OS, install it yourself.

Hard drive damaged.
First try setting it as a slave drive and use hard drive repair software to see if it can be fixed. If that doesn't work, it's over, go to a repair shop. |

Why did you do a low-level format when nothing was wrong?

Did you repartition it but not set the primary partition active?
