My computer (XP) was once infected with a virus, and the IE homepage was changed. Later I tried editing the registry myself, and also downloaded and used IE cleanup tools such as duba. Recently, I haven't been able to change the homepage at all. No matter how I change it, it still goes back to a blank homepage (about:blank). Please give me some advice, experts! Thanks

I tried that too, but after reopening IE, it goes back to the blank page again

Try this: "Run—gpedit.msc—User Configuration—Internet Explorer Maintenance—URL—Important URLs—Custom Home Page"

There's one more place Run—gpedit.msc—Administrative Templates—InternerExplorer—Disable changing home page settings—Not Configured
