Buddy: I tried patching in RedHat Linux before, and it should be relatively stable.
You said "If someone is willing to adopt, they can apply the patches for REDHAT themselves", but these operations are very complicated for most ordinary users (I've experienced the compile operation under Linux, which is much more troublesome than under DOS), and there needs to be a Linux system in the system. But I believe that at least 95% of the people in the forum don't have Linux in their systems and aren't very familiar with it, but only have DOS and Windows. Including myself, I don't have Linux in my current system, and there's no hard disk space to install it at present, so it's really difficult to do it myself.
So, I think it's better to include a GRUB for DOS with the XPM background patch and GRLDR in the official version 0.2.0 of GRUB for DOS, that is, both are put in, so that everyone can use it more conveniently and easily, and there are more choices, and there won't be the problem "If I apply the patches for REDHAT to GRUB for DOS, and for those who don't want the patches for redhat, it will be troublesome". Is this okay? Thank you!
