The MSDOS7.1 boot disk can run on a virtual machine that has an NTFS partition, but after it runs it still can't access the NTFS partition!
On a real machine with an NTFS partition, it stops responding halfway through; only the real mode one can run!
I compared it several times with windiff, and it's the same as the MSDOS7.1 image file downloaded from this site.
Why?

This question was already answered not long ago. It's a problem with the NTFS driver program. Just look through the old posts.
