I forgot the exact CPU model, it seems to be a 486DX-266, with a 270MB hard drive and 16MB of RAM. In the BIOS I changed it to boot from drive C, that is, C:FIRST A:SECOND, and everything is normal. The A drive can also be accessed. But when I change the boot order in the BIOS to A:FIRST C:SECOND, it cannot boot normally. After the BIOS self-test, it shows: "STAGE1 STAGE2 READ ERROR". I'm sure there is nothing wrong with either the floppy drive or the hard drive, and I also replaced the motherboard with a new one, with no problem there either. So where is the problem? Is it a software fault or a hardware fault? How can it be solved? Urgently awaiting a reply!!!

Does the boot floppy you're using boot normally on other machines? Can you make sure your boot floppy has no problems? Try another boot floppy!!
