My machine originally had Win98 installed. Later I wanted to install WinXP, so before installing I used ghost to make a system backup. After booting with a boot disk, I formatted drive C, then booted with the XP installation CD to install it. During the installation process, I chose to install using the NTFS format. Everything went smoothly, but because I'm a complete newbie, I could never get the graphics card installed correctly (blush), so I formatted the newly installed XP again. I wanted to restore the original WIN98 system, but found that my D drive had also been formatted, and there was only one Command file left. Can any expert tell me what happened?
