My view of hackers is like this:
mastery of assembly, C, UNIX, and English
a strong sense of individual heroism
likes reading biographies of historical figures most of all
full of soaring ambition every day
not good with words, but writes pretty well
dissatisfied with real society, extreme
openly admits he is a hacker, and the best hacker in the world

Personally I think that after your technical level reaches a certain standard, the scope involved will change a lot -------- individual, group, nation, country. Only by seeking well-being for more people does technology have its original sacred meaning.

Master at least 5 languages besides English
Be proactive and striving, not afraid of setbacks
At a later stage, you should be able to learn one programming language in a day, master it in a week, and use the newly learned language to make an operating system in a month
