DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

On - board sound card AC97 driver seems not to support sound output under DOS. It is suggested to buy an external sound card, this is my humble opinion, I don't know if it is correct

Upstairs, you misunderstood my meaning. Because I like to hang out on Driver Heaven, and I heard others say that, really, I absolutely don't have any such intention.

You can find a way to use HWINFO to check the chip model of the sound card, and then see if there are DOS drivers. If there are none, then there's no way.

Thank you, cdcd. Influenced by you, I also went to Driver Heaven to take a look, but I didn't find any usable drivers. But I don't know why I misunderstood your meaning. You said "I absolutely don't have any such meaning at all", what does "such meaning" refer to?

The model of the sound card is: the 6-channel output ADI AD1980 audio control chip. Please help everyone find its driver under MSDOS. One person's strength is limited, and if everyone looks for it together, the hope will be greater.
