I mean one that uses little memory and has good compatibility.
Also, I'm looking for a disk cache program that likewise uses little memory and has good compatibility with old DOS games. Many thanks, many thanks!

Lastly, I wonder how much conventional memory DOS71 can optimize out at most?

Around 630KB of free conventional memory, I guess. That CTMOUSE included with MS-DOS 7.1 is already the best and most practical mouse driver.
