My machine is Win98 (not DOS), but just now I accidentally installed Restore Wizard, then rebooted, and the result was that screen after screen of codes appeared, then it went back to the DOS prompt. I set path=c:\windows typed win, and then it said himem.sys is missing check if it exists inwindows directory I used dir to check, and himem.sys is there (c:\windows) What should I do???！！！！ I've asked on a lot of BBSes and websites, and now I'm asking you experts for advice, save ME!!!! Tell me how Win boots, and what I should do to start Win (The machine has no floppy drive or CD-ROM drive, so I guess I shouldn't need to get files from outside, right?) help Thanks! Thanks!

Try using SCANDISK.EXE in DOS mode to repair the system.

Good heavens, my machine goes straight into DOS, and I already deleted the restore from there.

Reinstall the 98 system over it; the information for the programs that were originally installed won't be lost.
