My motherboard is an MSI 845E. Every time I boot up, it stays in the detection stage for a very long time.
The content is roughly as follows:
Inetl UNDI ,PXE-2.0(build 082)
Copyrignt (C)1997-2000 Intel corporation
For Realtek RTL 8139 (A/B/C)/RTL8130 PCI FAST Ethernet Controller V2.11(001205)
CLIENT MAC ADDR 00 0A EB 25 4979 GUID FFFFFFFF FFFF FFFF FFFF FFFFFFFFFFFF
DHCP....
The four dots after DHCP appear one slower than the next, and there is a spinning cursor after them.
After an N-minute long wait, a line of text appears that I can't fully see.
There is something like PXE -E51, and after that something about exiting PXE- ROM.
Only then does it go into CD boot and system boot.
Could some expert help me? Is there any way to stop it from torturing me? I don't want to wait. I've gone through the motherboard BIOS manual from beginning to end,
and tried the settings one by one, but I still couldn't get rid of it. What the hell kind of detection is this!!!!!!!!!!
