Don’t just sit there laughing. Friends from different places, add your own hometown dialect too. Mine is already up there:

Northeastern dialect: “Today your uncle me is just standing here, touch me and try it, damn it. Don’t damn think just because you’re not small that you’re anything—if you really piss me off I’ll smash you dead with a brick!”

Anhui Bengbu dialect: “I’m just standing here now, you son of a bitch come over and mess with me once and try it. Don’t think just because you look like some big old bastard that it means anything—if you piss me off I’ll smash you with a brick, you little bastard!”

From our place to Bengbu takes 50 minutes by train, so let’s count this one.

"不要看你跟多老b的样"
That expression "old b" does exist, but it’s not exactly elegant.

LanE:
Amazing that you could still remember it, you even reproduced the *, and some local accents really are kind of vulgar.

Hehe, this really does sound familiar

I’ve seen lots of posts about dialects before, but ones that include Anhui dialect really are pretty rare

Anhui’s Huangmei Opera is the only local opera I like. I used to love messing around with audio equipment, and Ma Lan’s singing passages became my most commonly used sound test material. So, in order to protect the image of Huangmei Opera, I’ve decided! To expel you from Anhui provincial citizenship. You should just keep staying in Hebei. What do you think?
