I only remember that the very early ARJ seemed to have major limitations if it wasn't registered, but the recent new versions don't seem to have any restrictions~

Of course there are restrictions. The usage period is 30 days. After it expires, with each additional day, you have to wait about one more second when running it; after two years that's 12 minutes!
