I just hope Comrade Wengier can optimize the performance of the DOS enhancement software a bit, and make support for new technologies (such as USB, CD-ROM, NTFS, networking, and Chinese) more standardized (so it looks like something produced by Microsoft), and then changing the version to 9.00 would be fine. In fact, Microsoft did the same thing.

Changing the version to 9.0 would mean modifying the DOS kernel, not just changing some drivers. It would be better to add all the necessary drivers on the basis of the MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition and make it into a truly complete DOS system.
