Our machine originally had 98 installed, and under DOS we used a self-written FOXPRO program to print the staff roster.

After upgrading to XP, those programs could no longer run; later I downloaded the latest MS—DOS and made it into a dual-boot setup. DOS, UCDOS, and FOXPRO can all run, but it just won't print. What comes out of the printer is two lines of garbled text.

Originally, the same program could print just fine. The printer is an EPSON LQ-1600kⅢ. I'm sincerely asking for advice: why exactly is this happening?
