If it's 98, there are Power off, shutdown, etc. The forum boot disks all have them.

Power off and Shutdown don't work well. I tried "rundll32.exe user.exe,restartwindows" too, but for some reason that doesn't work either. I boot the machine under Windows98, then execute the Winstart batch program, and a password must be entered, if it's wrong, the machine restarts

I tried "rundll32.exe user.exe,restartwindows" too, but for some reason that doesn't work either. You typed the command wrong. In Windows 98 it isn't restartwindows. I don't remember it too clearly either, it seems to be rundll32.exe user.exe,exitecwindows I'll check again next time.

In windows 98: Shut down: rundll32.exe user.exe,exitwindows Restart: rundll32.exe user.exe,exitwindowsexec You can make a shortcut for the above commands and use it directly later. If used in a batch file, rundll32.exe should be changed to rundll.exe
