Bump it myself. My machine has no floppy drive, but can boot from USB flash drive. I want to use a mobile hard disk under DOS. Is there any expert to help? There are so many experts, it must be able to be solved.

DUSE can be tried by someone. You can search for previous posts. There is a certain difficulty in driving USB devices under DOS because Microsoft had already stopped developing DOS long before USB came out.

I tried these drivers, but they didn't work. The drivers that I tried on someone else's machine with a floppy drive could drive USB flash drives and external hard drives. But on machines without a floppy drive, maybe everyone oversimplified. The crux of the problem is (in my opinion) that the system itself can load the USB flash drive (default is the C drive). But after loading duse in config.sys, it searches all USB devices. As a result, it also finds the USB flash drive and reloads it, and then the system can't find the original USB flash drive and gets stuck there.

Nowadays, most motherboards that support USB booting use USB HDD boot, which is different from the USB floppy drive. The USB floppy drive refers to an external floppy drive with a USB interface. If you use a USB flash drive and select this option to boot, it won't work.
