I downloaded a "Super Universal MS-DOS Boot Disk 7.10 Build 2003.5.16". According to the prompt in <>: "After extracting the downloaded file, then insert the floppy disk, double-click the MAKEBOOT file, and the program will automatically extract the MSDOS71.IMG image file to the floppy disk to generate a DOS boot disk". But after I performed the above operation, there was nothing on the floppy disk??????

My operating system situation is as follows:
1. The C drive is installed with Win2000.
2. The D drive is WinXP.
3. All disk formats are NTFS format.
4. I performed the installation in WinXP.
Does the installation program not support NTFS format disks, and must it be installed in a FAT32 disk format to work???
If "Super Universal MS-DOS Boot Disk 7.10" supports NTFS format, then what is the reason??????
I sincerely hope that the moderator or expert can give a clear judgment!!!!!!
I would like to thank everyone first!

First, why is the version of the super boot disk downloaded so old, only the May 16th version?

Second, it is normal that there are no files after running MAKEBOOT. After restarting, files will automatically appear.

According to the method you said, restart the computer and set the BIOS to boot from the floppy drive. The result is as follows:
Remove disk or other media
Press any key to restart
Open drive A and there is still nothing!

If a good thing lacks "ease of understanding and accessibility", its circulation rate will never be high. Just like pop music and classical music, which one has a greater market? Also, like Windows and Linux. If Linux wants to compete with Windows, it must be better than or equal to Windows in ease of operation; otherwise, it will only end up in a situation where the tune is too high and few people understand it.
Hey! Beginners may all be like me, talking a lot and complaining. In short, still can't get it right.
There isn't even a detailed help file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's your own problem if you can't even handle the common floppy disk image IMG format well. It's suggested to study it carefully.

If I were very proficient, would I still come to ask you? Forums are for communicating and learning from each other.
If everyone were an expert, and anyone looking at anyone's post would say, "Heh! It's simple", or if there were no one who "can't even handle the common floppy disk image IMG format" coming here, would that be what a forum is supposed to be? Would that be interesting?
You put "Suggest studying hard" at the end, but I'm here to "study hard", and you don't give any guidance, just throw out this cold sentence that I don't understand - "¥~#¥!#¥……".
Those who know it find it easy, those who don't find it difficult. You speak like that because you're very proficient in this area, but I know from experience!!!

Dude, I'm also a newbie like you. I just solved this problem. Under 98, double-clicking MAMKEBOOT can extract the files to the floppy disk. Under XP, you need to use WINIMAGE, and directly use WINIMAGE to extract the files to the floppy disk.

A good thing is for those with understanding. If because of your existence, the circulation rate, no one will be unhappy if it lowers the circulation rate. You know nothing and are not humble, just come up complaining here and there. Do you need someone to teach you to listen to pop music by lifting your ears?

Nonsense, if I were very proficient, would I still come to ask you? The forum is for mutual communication and learning.
If everyone were a master, and everyone looked at everyone else's posts and said, "Hey! It's simple", or if there were no one who "can't even handle the common floppy disk image IMG format" coming here, would that be called a forum? Would that be interesting?

Learn from each other? That's well said, but do you deserve it?
What can others learn from you? Do you still want to teach others
Slap yourself in the face
Where are you coming to communicate? You don't even know how to say a polite word
