I have an antique-class laptop, an NEC Pc486AS, and it even has an EPSON logo on it. It has a fully Japanese operating system, win3.1. A boot disk made with win98 cannot boot it (it just goes to something like a black screen). Now I want to convert it into a Chinese system. How should I do it?

Because it's a Japanese machine, during power-on self-test I could only make out RAM:640k Extended RAM:9***K, I couldn't understand the rest, and it flashed by too quickly
